My friends:

As you know, I'm crazy for animals and I fully support the associations that defend them.  I'll use this space for posting important stories, as well as posts from MySpace and elsewhere about pets you can adopt from the kill shelters.

I want to thank you for bringing attention to this page :)

At the bottom is a form dedicated to postings about animals in urgent need of adoption. There is a link for you to add to this list.

Please do NOT send me any money for any of the charities which I support. Instead, visit your local animal shelter and while you’re there, make a donation. (Remember to get a receipt for your tax return.) If you can, volunteer to help out. If your life allows, come home with a new furry family member.

Another excellent alternative is to send a donation to the Humane Society of the United States. There is strength in numbers.
